This focus group will discuss and overview all types of non-probate transfers, with a particular emphasis on the changes being brought about by Assembly Bill 2016 which go into effect starting April 1, 2025. We will review transfers via beneficiary designation and by operation of law, spousal property petitions, as well as the probate alternatives for smaller estates.
