About Our Speaker:
Kate Crane is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law, the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Her focus is on estate planning, probate and post death trust administration. She also engages in small business entity formation and maintenance. Ms. Crane is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Ohio and before the United States Tax Court. Kate is a past president of the South Bay Estate Planning Council, and lectures frequently on estate planning issues. For nine years she was a member of the Board of Trustees of Torrance Memorial Medical Center, and served as Chairwoman of that Board from 1993 until 1997. She is a former member of the board of directors of H.E.L.P (a non-profit information resource helping people meet aging related legal and care challenges). Kate was a commissioner of the Library of Commission of the City of Manhattan Beach. Kate is currently the chairwoman of the board of the John Gogian Family Foundation. Ms. Crane has been recognized as a “California Super Lawyer” by the Los Angeles Magazine in the Super Lawyer survey in each year from 2005 through 2016. In 2008, she was also named as one of the top 50 women lawyers in Southern California.
