It’s Permanent Until It’s Not:
The Challenge of Properly Managing Life Insurance
by Dennis Branconier, CLU
Ever since the life insurance industry began inviting consumers to design their own insurance in the mid-1980’s, creativity and optimism have sometimes taken precedence over common sense and far-sighted planning. As a result, many insured persons are on course to last longer than their supposedly “permanent” insurance policies will.
Did you know that two out of three universal life policies issued before 2007 could be facing trouble in terms of not meeting their original objectives due to today’s low interest rate environment?
Join us, as this month’s session will revolve around a case study highlighting the key areas of consideration for troubleshooting and decision-making with respect to in-force universal life insurance policies.
Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions and will come away with a deeper awareness of issues facing their clients, as well as a clearer personal understanding of how all life insurance works and the market forces influencing it.
