About our Speakers:
Patricia Bell Harik, CPA, MST, is the Managing Partner of HARIK MINASSI COALE and the head of the Firm’s tax department. With more than 30 years of tax experience, Patricia works with individuals and businesses in a wide range of industries. She provides tax planning and compliance services, transactional analysis, trust accounting and administration, estate planning, and client representation before the taxing authorities.
Patricia earned an undergraduate degree in Business / Economics and French from the University of California at Santa Barbara, including a year abroad in Bordeaux, France as an exchange student. In 1997, she completed her Master’s Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
In the ever-changing world of taxation, Patricia spends a significant amount of time studying and researching the emerging issues affecting her clients. She actively participates in the South Bay Estate Planning Council to remain current and enhance her skills to serve clients in the expanding area of estate planning.
Community involvement is essential to Patricia and she dedicates her time as a Board Member of the Torrance Del Amo Rotary and a member of the City of Rolling Hills Estates Equestrian Committee. To fulfill her passion for horses, she competes in western shows and is the Co-President of Los Serranos Award Circuit.
Patricia believes that accounting professionals need to balance work, education, family, and community involvement and the Firm’s clients are best served when this philosophy is achieved.
Cynthia Rustanius, CPA
Cynthia Rustanius was born in Pasadena and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting from California State University @ Long Beach. She spent three (3) years with a local CPA firm in Los Angeles where she was certified, two (2) years with Xerox Corporation and two (2) with Coopers & Lybrand, and International CPA firm, now known as Price Waterhouse Coopers. While at Coopers, she specialized in small business and taxation. She obtained a Master of Business Taxation degree from USC.
Ms. Rustanius established her own CPA Firm while working towards her Masters degree (Rustanius & Norton, CPA, PC – firm located in Torrance). Her firm specializes in small businesses and taxation, as well as trusts and estates. She also acts as a professional trustee.
Natallia Ioannou, CPA, CPE, MBT
Natallia earned her Master Degree in Taxation from University of Southern California. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and received Certified Estate Planner (CEP) certification from the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners. She works for Servatius, O’Brien and Fong, LLP, a CPA company located in Torrance.
She has more than 15 years of extensive experience in providing accounting and tax services in the US and abroad. Her expertise consists of comprehensive accounting services, including individual, corporate, partnership, nonprofit, trust and estate tax returns preparation as well as attest services. She enjoys working with clients on tax planning and trust and estate tax return preparation that meet each client’s unique objectives.
