Viki will present the new End of Life Options Act, which used to be known as “death with dignity” and is now known as “medical aid in dying.” This law went into effect last June and is being implemented in some healthcare systems. Attendees will learn which patients can and cannot participate, what happens when a patient requests the aid-in-dying drug, and the obligations and rights of the medical medical professional.
